Pioneer & Onkyo Europe GmbH activates DTS Play-Fi® wireless multi-room audio technology on its MRX-5, and MRX-3 Wireless Speaker with a firmware update available today (August 1, 2017). An update for select 2017-model Pioneer products, as well as 2016-model components listed below, is due by serially end of September.

Pioneer today announces a new “Smart Mute” feature for the Rayz and Rayz Plus Lightning earphones, along with new Rayz Plus colours - Black and Rose Gold - which are available exclusively at Apple.com and at Apple Retail stores worldwide. Rayz Plus are the first and only Lightning earphones with an inline charging node that allows you to charge the iPhone and listen to music or talk at the same time. Rayz Plus uses Apple's newest Lightning audio technology, powered by Avnera Corporation's LightX platform and aims to provide simple and smart solutions for today's mobile consumers.

Pioneer har lansert SE-MONITOR 5, en ny lukket, on-ear hodetelefon som gjør utstrakt bruk av trickle-down teknologien som flaggskipet, hodetelefonen SE-MASTER1 er utstyrt med, og tilbyr ekte Hi-Res lydgjengivelse samt støtte for både balansert og ubalansert lyd. Pioneers ingeniører bestemte seg til å bruke det mest tradisjonelle materialet – tre – da den spesialbygde 50mm drivenheten som dekker hele frekvensområdet, ble utviklet. Nanofiber av cellulose, fremstilt av høyraffinert organisk tremasse, ble brukt til å forme en unik driverprofil som minimerer uønskede resonanser.

With the "FAYOLA" music-systems FS-W40 and FS-W50, Pioneer introduces two new, ultra-modern music-systems and a completely new device genre. FAYOLA overcomes the limitations of ordinary audio-systems: it allows free setup and flexible configuration, transmits the signals in stereo as well as surround wirelessly to speakers, is almost unrestricted multi-room capable and can be used seamlessly with all streaming services and sound formats. The Pioneer Remote App for iOS and Android is available in the respective app stores for intuitive control - whether it is a single system or an entire multi-room network.
